CLUB FITTING FAQs
What is a club fitting and why is it so important?
Golf club fitting is very important because it tailors your golf clubs to match your unique swing characteristics, leading to improved performance, enhanced comfort, and increased confidence on the course. Additionally, club fitting protects your investment by ensuring you purchase equipment that suits your game, saving you money in the long run. Golf club fitting is a valuable process that can significantly impact your game and overall satisfaction as a golfer.
Are your club fitting professionals certified or trained in club fitting techniques?
Our club fitters have received a variety of certifications, including but not limited to: Callaway Certified Master Fitter training, TaylorMade Certified Fitter training, Ping Certified Fitter training, and more!
How long do fittings take?
Fittings can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours. For more information, please click here.
What does the fitting process entail?
During the club fitting process, we carefully measure height, swing speed, and other specifications to determine the ideal club and shaft combination that will optimize distance, consistency, and accuracy. For more information, please visit our"Club Fitting Process" page.
Do you offer fittings for specific types of golfers, such as beginners or seniors?
Yes! We are able to fit seniors, beginners, ladies, juniors, and more!
What should I bring when I get fitted?
Please be sure to bring golf shoes (or any shoes you would feel comfortable playing a round of golf in), a glove, and the club that you're being fit for. For example, if you're planning on getting fit for a new driver, please bring the driver you're currently using.
I'm currently taking lessons. Should I wait to be fit?
Absolutely not! Poorly fitted clubs can undermine the effectiveness of teaching and lesson curriculum, resulting in misleading feedback regarding performance. By ensuring that your clubs are properly suited to you, you'll be able to shift your focus to improving your swing, allowing you to concentrate less on your equipment and more on your game.
Is my handicap too high to get fitted?
Absolutely not! Getting fit is beneficial for golfers of all skill levels, including those with higher handicaps. In fact, research has shown that higher handicap golfers can experience substantial improvements in their game through a custom club fitting. Their swings are often more consistent than they may think, and the tailored equipment resulting from the fitting process can help them shave off strokes from their scores.
In an Iron Fitting, do I get fit for just one iron or the whole set?
During an iron fitting, we have you swing your 7-iron which allows us to determine which shaft and head combination would be best for you. However, the combo that we determine fits you best will be utilized in your whole iron set.
After being fit, can I purchase the clubs from your shop?
Yes! We're certified dealers and retailers for all of the companies that we fit for. For a complete list, please visit this page.
Can you check length, loft, lie, and other specs of my clubs to ensure that they're best fit for my swing?

If you've purchased used clubs and are uncertain if any previous adjustments were made, we can provide you with accurate information about whether or not anything has been modified.
